Elected Positions
President – Responsible for administration of the league. Plan & run meetings, appoint managers and coaches, maintain contact with the District and Little League International.
Vice President – Preside in the absence of the President. Work with other officers to support league duties & events.
Secretary – Record meeting minutes.
Treasurer – Keep league financial records and present them at monthly meetings. Responsible for co-signing checks and balancing and depositing all funds.
Manager Representative – Liaison between board and team managers.
Player Agent – In charge of player registration, team selection, transfers, waivers, and ensuring that birth/residence documentation is complete and accurate.
Fundraising Coordinator – Coordinate participation in fundraising activities. Schedule and plan fundraising events.
Sponsor Representative – Create and maintain relationships with businesses, organizations, or individuals who may be interested in sponsoring the league.
Snack Bar Manager – Manage snack bar schedule. Purchase & track concession products, income & expenses.
Safety Officer – Create annual safety plan & work to ensure safe playing conditions.
Appointed Positions
Umpire in Charge – Schedule umpires for Minor, Intermediate, and Junior home games.
Equipment Manager – Inventory, track, and maintain all league-owned equipment.
Information Officer – Maintain league website, calendar, and registration system. Manage email communications.
Communications Officer- Manage Social Media accounts.
Field Coordinator – Reserve fields. Oversee maintenance & related equipment.
Rec Council Liaison – Attend monthly Mira Mesa Rec Council meetings as MMLL rep.
Head Scorekeeper – Ensure scorekeepers receive training, review scorebooks, and post scores.
Volunteer Coordinator – Assist Snack Bar Manager with volunteer needs. Team Mom liaison.
Uniform Coordinator – Assist in selection of uniform vendor. Order & distribute all uniforms.
Picture Day Coordinator – Assist board in selection of photography vendor and act as liaison to schedule & plan picture day. Distribute order packets and the orders when received.
Yearbook Coordinator – Create and order yearbook using team photos and parent photos.
Trophy Coordinator – Assist board in selection of trophy vendor and products. Responsible for ordering and communication with vendor.
Event Planner – Assist with planning of Opening Day, Year-End Picnic, and other events.
Grant Writer – Research and apply for any community funds or grants that may be available.
