Mandatory Assessments
Mandatory player assessments (for Farm through Juniors) are required by Little League prior to being placed on a team for the season. According to the rules set forth by Little League International®, all players MUST provide proof of age and residency (or of school attendance) in order to be eligible for the draft and/or placement on a team. There are NO EXCEPTIONS to this policy and each player's information must be verified each year!
Players are assessed on their skills and abilities, including but not limited to, throwing, catching, fielding, and batting.
There will be a sign up sheet for an assessment time slot (Farm and above divisions only) at Document Collection. Please sign-up your player after submitting the required documents.
LEAGUE ELIGIBILITY UPDATE Effective 2025
From the Official Little League - "Starting with the 2025 season, children at the youngest level of the Little League® Baseball program (League Age 4-7) will have the ability to register for any Little League program they choose, without respect to any geography- or school-related eligibility requirements. Those players who register under this option will also be fully eligible to participate in all aspects of league play, including International Tournament play, for the duration of their Little League careers provided they have continuous and unbroken participation within the specific league where initially registered and provided all other participation eligibility requirements have been met." Junior Umpire Program
Mira Mesa Little League is excited to bring back our youth umpire program. MMLL youth umpires get to develop a sense of responsibility, learn the rules of baseball, and earn money. We are looking for both experienced and non-experienced umpires. We will hold training a few weeks before the season starts and offer continual training throughout the year. For more details about this exciting program, please check out the Junior Umpire Tab under Resources & Info.
Refund Policy
All registration refund requests must be made before January 31, 2025. To request a refund, please email our player agent directly: [email protected]
The maximum refund for registration fees paid by credit card will be the amount paid minus a $3 online service charge. Fees paid by check do not incur this fee.
- Please understand that teams are formed based on a minimum number of players needed. Team managers and league board members dedicate a lot of their time ensuring teams are well rounded. If a player decides they no longer want to play and withdraws after the draft has already taken place, then additional time and work is needed to re-balance the teams. We also place uniform orders immediately after registration closes. For these reasons, we will not honor any refund requests after January 31, 2025. Thank you for your understanding.
